Al Ain Golf Club, Abu Dhabi

Finished inside the top 20 in 19th place with rounds of 75, 72, 73, but didn't quite get the pace of the greens and need to figure out hitting irons from such grainy lies. 

Frilford Heath Golf Club

Finished 4th after rounds of 74, 69, 67. Need to get off to faster starts and maybe play more practice rounds to get more of a feel for the course and conditions. 

Tandridge Golf Club

Retained the Scratch Medal at my home club with a solid 1 under par round of 70.

Ganton & Fulford

Didn't quite have my swing after the wind of the tournament before and shot two disappointing rounds to miss the cut

Purbeck Golf Club

Shot a solid opening round and battled some crazy conditions in round 2 to shoot level par and open up a 4 shot lead, which I maintained over the final round to win the tournament and qualify for the Grand Final in Abu Dhabi in November 

Ferndown & Broadstone Golf Clubs

Shot a 3 under par 67 in qualifying and progressed through two rounds of matchplay with some great golf against tough opponents, before just missing out in the last 16 to the eventual winner. Great experience. 

Moor Park Golf Club

Happy to finish inside the top 20 in 18th place at the Carris with rounds of 73, 70, 73, 70 for a 2 under par total. Struck the ball great all week and very few mistakes.  Next job is to work on the wedges to give myself more birdie chances.

The Berkshire Golf

Was really happy with an opening round of 1 under though should have been at least 3 or 4 better the way I hit the ball. Played pretty well in the afternoon with a 2 over round, but sadly, my total of 1 over par meant I missed the cut by one shot! Some serious putting practice coming up.

St Leot Rot

Very frustratingly having been told I would get into the field there were a lot of late entries and my handicap of +3.4 was 9th reserve. So I had also missed out on entering other tournaments in half term which was a massive shame.

Held at the lovely Rye Golf Course on the South Coast of England

I was very happy with my consistency shooting rounds of 74, 73, 73 and 72 to finish in 11th spot in a strong field of U21's 

The Machrihanish Golf Club

Shot a solid 72 in windy conditions to win the Captains Prize at Machrihanish Golf Club.

Moor Park Golf Club

Was a fun experience to play in Open Qualifying and shot a solid round of 2 over par, coming 31st in a field of over 120 players and beating the Pro I was playing with. Was good to play a competitive round on the course which will host the Carris Trophy in a few weeks time.

Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club

Had a good couple of days playing 36 holes each day and shooting rounds of 72, 70, 67 & 73 to come in a tie for 7th spot. Lots of College Golfers were playing in this event and was good to finish ahead of most of them and boostsee some rewards for the hard work I've been putting in heading into the main events of the Summer.​

72-hole scratch stroke play competition

Shot rounds of 78 & 74 to again miss the cut by two. Played really well for 33 holes, but had a couple of big numbers, dropping 6 shots on one hole over two rounds, so need to improve a couple of decisions and swings.

Lundin Links Golf Club

Shot rounds of 77&75 and narrowly missed the cut by two. Played really solid for most of the tournament in windy conditions, but a couple of costly mistakes I need to iron out.  

Brocket Hall, Herts, UK

I had a pretty solid week shooting rounds of 74, 77 and 76 to finish in 30th position. I didn't make nearly enough scrambles and have been working hard on my chipping off different lies since then. 

72-Hole Amateur Scratch Medal Competition

I shot 76 in Round 1 and unfortunately the second round was cancelled after torrential rain and the cut made based on the first round scores.

Location: El Prat GC in Barcelona

I made a couple of costly errors in round 1 and struggled with the pace of the super fast greens coming out of an English winter, finishing in 50th place with rounds of 82 & 78
